Usually, the harvested grain has more moisture than the conditional, and in order to improve the grain storage conditions the grain must be dried, that is one of the ways to conserve or to lower biological activity, during which water is partly removed from the grain. The purpose of drying is to improve the storage conditions. During the drying process the quality of grain and their maturation after harvesting improves, which increases their germination energy. Additionally, a large number of pests are exterminated and the microbiological pollution is reduced.
