Tension covers

Tank covers are becoming increasingly popular with farmers wanting to protect valuable slurry storage being taken up by rainfall. Storth can supply tension covers which can be fitted to new and existing tanks. These Tension covers are made from Polyester woven fabric with a PVC covering to protect against slurry and UV Light.

Tension Covers are fixed to the Slurry tank by heavy duty ratchet straps fixed to the wind band. An oak centre pole prevents the cover from sagging into the middle of the tank.

Tank accessories

Pumps

Used for filling, also helps to mix. Made of light steel and fully galvanized. A 12,5 cm cross-tube with a 7,62 cm nozzle creates pressure to mix the tank with a 300 degree rotation that can direct the slurry to any part of the tank.

Tank wall mixers

This is the ideal machine for regular use to prevent crust formation in overground tanks. Wall faucets can be installed in steel or concrete tanks and can also be installed in existing tanks.
This machine uses an approved propeller design like other mixers. To use this machine at 540 rpm, you need 60-70 horsepower.
